| Description: | Directs and supervises patient care and back office services in accordance with governmental and other regulatory standards. Responsible for managing and administering the patient care services in the clinic. This position requires supervision of 20+ staff members. Must be skilled in patient preparation, medical procedures, surgical procedures, orthopedic procedures, lab procedures, back office procedures and quality assurance. Position requires working on the floor alongside Medical Assistant staff in direct patient care as well as managing staff and clinical operational aspects of the practice. This position reports to the office manager. |
| Duties: | Directs and supervises Medical Assisting and Back Office Staff services in accordance with governmental and other regulatory standards.
Facilitates development of department mission, goals, policies, procedures, budget, work standards.
Compiles/analyzes data, prepares and presents statistical information on department performance, productivity, activity, budget to administration. Uses TQM methods to improve performance and processes.
Oversees nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patients' health and wellness.
Oversees patient needs and suggestions solutions to patient care problems.
Selects, orients/trains, evaluates staff.
Ensures the development and delivery of medical assisting education to staff.

| Qualifications: | The qualified candidiate can be an LVN or RN with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years supervisory level experience. |
